STEP 1: Become an expert on an aspect of human waste. Find out about trash sources, landfills, recycling, or ocean plastics! CHOOSE ONE WAY to increase your knowledge of how waste can be disposed of.

EMPATHY

STEP 2: Imagine seeing the world through the eyes of a person or organism directly affected by the waste we throw away every day. CHOOSE ONE WAY to learn more about how our trash affects organisms that live in the surrounding area.

ENGINEER

STEP 3: To understand more about waste, CHOOSE ONE WAY to investigate waste disposal by making a model to provide observable information. 


 

EXAMINE

STEP 4: Complete a Jigsaw Classroom investigation into the problems of recycling.
